MARAVU Plantation and Beach Resort at Matei is one of the most highly-acclaimed destinations in Fiji. Under the direction of its current owner for over 10 years, the resort has been upgraded during that time to include new luxury accommodation options. Although the largest resort property on Taveuni, with 88 acres of lush coconut plantation, tropical gardens and beach, a maximum of only 30 guests ensures that each guest's vacation will be an exquisite one. The staff's genuine and friendly service forms an enduring part of their memory long after they have returned home.
An acclaimed luxury honeymoon and wedding destination, Maravu offers private and exotic bure and villa accommodation, fine dining and first-class wine list. A spa facility offers massage and beauty therapies, and a saltwater pool is nestled in gardens of flowering ginger, hibiscus, fragrant frangipani, bougainvillea, allamanda and other tropical flowers and shrubs. There is a boutique with Fijian handicrafts and personal items for sale, an extensive guest library and wireless ISDN connection in the reception area. A range of on-shore and off-shore activities are also available.
