Lot 1
This lot is 2053 m2 and is the closest lot to the Resort a short distance above and beyond Maravu's premier accommodation option, the 'Treehouse'. One advantage of this excellent parcel is that it is within easy walking distance of the Resort facilities. It is a fairly steep lot with a level platform on the lower side above the road. Partially hidden in the landscaping below are bures 3 and 4 of Maravu Resort. All three lots in this part of the property - Lots 1, 2 and 3 - are sited towards the sunrise and moonrise. The road is on the lower edge of all three properties, and the land beyond continues to descend to a pleasant gully filled with rainforest trees and coconut palms.
Lot 2
Lot 2 is located adjacent to Lot 1, but with higher elevation. Ocean and island views (one can see Rabi from this lot), plus valley views to the east. The area is 2082 m2 . Like Lot 1, this lot is fairly steep. There is a slight levelling out midway up the lot. All three lots in this part of the property - Lots 1, 2 and 3 - are sited towards the sunrise and moonrise. The road is on the lower edge of all three properties, and the land beyond continues to descend to a pleasant gully filled with rainforest trees and coconut palms.
Lot 3
This lot is adjacent to Lot 2 on one side and on the other is a reserve, providing additional privacy. At 2226 m2 it is an attractive larger parcel. It has both ocean and rainforest views and is less steep than Lot 1 and Lot 2, and has easier access from the road below. All three lots in this part of the property - Lots 1, 2 and 3 - are sited towards the sunrise and moonrise. The road is on the lower edge of all three properties, and the land beyond Lot 3 continues to descend to the start of the gully prominent in Lots 1 and 2 but also has grassed hill views beyond the gully.

Lot 4
Lot 4 has a gentle easterly slope and contains many significant mature trees. Level for building. Views to the sunrise and ocean east of Taveuni including the island of Vuibau. It is almost a square profile, with nearly 44 metre road frontage. Total area is 2160m2 (approx half acre).
Lot 5
This sunrise facing elevated lot above Lots 23 & 24 has views towards the offshore islands of Yanuca, Qamea, and Laucala. It comprises some 2201 sq metres. The lot includes some beautiful, mature significant trees called 'Ivi'. Being higher elevation than Lot 4, this Lot starts to pick up on the northern ocean views enjoyed by Lots 13 - 19. Depending on where the owners of Lots 23 & 24 build, there will also be views to Yanuca island and the Ringgold reefs.
Lot 6
This corner lot comprises some 2111 sq m and features several significant flamboyant trees ('Flame Trees'). The lot has some ocean views to the north and east. Bought in combination with Lot 7, this would make a great "double" lot purchase for anyone looking for about an acre total.
Lot 7
Lot 7 is nicknamed the "gully lot" due to a pleasant bowl-shaped gully on one side. This is the smallest lot at 1841 sq metres. However, it has great views and is offered at an attractive price. For the astute purchaser looking to buy a 'double' lot, this would be excellently combined with the adjacent Lot 6 below.
Lot 8
Lot 8 is a very attractive lot as it is has a unique gully dip between it and neighbouring Lot 7. For those looking at a larger sized holding, buying this lot together with Lot 7 is a very attractive proposition. Visit and view these lots to appreciate the the full value of this possibility! Lot 8 is 2037 m2, has ocean views east, north and west and overlooks Lot 14, Lot 13, the Maravu Wedding Bure hilltop, and Lots 4, 5, 6, 23 and 2. Also has some tree ferns on this lot (balabala).
Lot 9
As the road climbs to the property's highest elevations, Lot 9 is provided with even better views of the ocean to the east, north and west. The lot comprises 22216 sq metres, so is more than half acre in size. It also features (in addition to Fiji trees and coconut palms) a number of mature tree ferns, known as 'balabala' (mbala-mbala). These trees feature strongly in Fijian culture, being used for the omniprescent extruding ridge beam feature of their traditional 'bure' architecture. Balabala trunks are also used to carve small 'totem' like statues in Fijian villages, and are an ideal post on which to plant orchids that thrive on the fibre-like structure. Some views to the ocean to the east through the trees though not quite as open as Lot 11. Also views to Narova peak to the rear. This lot has a slight ridge meaning that the road is slightly below, and so is the rear of the property. Also features some tropical Ivi trees with buttress roots.
Lot 10
An excellent upper level lot, Lot 10 has good views to the east. The lot has a tranquil rainforest feeling to it and is fairly level for building, giving much choice for siting of a home. The lot size is 2079 sq metres. To the rear one can also view Narova Peak. There are some nice tree ferns, coconut palms and rainforest trees. The lot is at a lower elevation to the road than Lots 11 and 12, so views to the ocean on the north-northwest are not as dramatic.
Lot 11
One of the nicest upper level lots, Lot 11 has commanding views east, north and west. The Eastern view towards Qamea and Laucala islands is especially good. One can also see the island of Viubani (133m/436ft high) that is just off the eastern end of Taveuni. Narova Peak is also visible from the bottom of the lot. The lot size is 2141 sq metres. There are fewer coconut palms than Lot 12, but there are a number of significant trees, giving a nice blend of coconut palms and trees. Fairly level for building, dipping off at the rear boundary.
Lot 12
Lot 12 is a privately sited lot with one of the highest elevations on the property. It enjoys east, north and west views. It adjoins two lots, Lot 11 (below) and Lot 21 above. This lot is fairly level for building, and dips off at the lower side. The lot features many coconut palms, with some quite beautiful and mature. Looking to the rear border one can also see a rainforest valley, rising to coconut plantations dominated by Narova peak (210m/689ft).
Lot 13
Panoramic views of the ocean and offshore islands of Vanua Levu, Kioa and Rabi. This lot is sold.
Lot 14
Lot 14 is 2173 sq m and - like Lot 13 - has breathtaking views of the ocean and offshore islands. This lot is more level for building and landscaping than Lot 13. There is a large flame (flamboyant) tree on the corner of the lot by the roadside. At the foot of the property is natural rainforest with Vau trees, coconuts, tree ferns and rainforest trees. From the highest point on this lot, there is a slight dip down to the road on one side of the lot, which provides natural screening and would lend itself to landscaping.
Lot 15
Lot 15 comprises 2431 sq metres and has a high ridge that slopes down the hillside to the valley below. The valley is lush with coconut palms, rainforest trees and tree ferns. The lot has panoramic views to the west and a few large trees along the roadside edge.
Lot 16
Lot 16, some 2434 sq metres, has a high ridge that slopes down the hillside and is above Lot 15. This lot has panoramic ocean views to the west and north and due to the slope, would be particularly suitable for pole house construction. This would give a treehouse kind of ambience. The valley below features many coconut palms, rainforest trees and tree ferns (balabala) creating an attractive view down to the ocean. Lots 13 - 17 are fairly open to allow for the breathtaking ocean views. However, Lot 16 does have some significant trees at the top bordering the road.
Lot 17
Like all lots along this side of the ridge, Lot 17 has outstanding views across the Somosomo Strait to the islands of Vanua Levu and Rabi. Due to the slope of the land down from the ridge to the Resort hidden in the plantation below, this view cannot be obscured by either trees or buildings. The Lot - 2572 sq metres - is a large lot, combining level land for building, that then slopes down the hill towards the ocean. Lot 17 is slightly lower elevation than Lot 18 but higher than Lot 16. It is possible to see the Somosomo Strait above and behind the rainforested ridge that marks the south-western border of Maravu.
Lot 18
Lot 18 is an ample 2267 sq m and - except for the adjoining Lot 19, has the highest elevation of all lots. It therefore has commanding views to the west and north, with the islands of Vanua Levu, and Rabi clearly visible across the Somosomo Strait. It is a very private lot, being the last one along the ridge, has good views over a rainforest covered ridge to the west allowing views of the Somosomo Strait. It also has excellent views down a rainforested valley to the ocean. Being of high elevation, this lot also has some views in the opposite direction, looking over Lot 12 to Qamea and Laucala islands to the east, and through to coconut plantation property to the south-east.
Lot 19
This Lot enjoys the highest elevation on the estate and is 2098 m2 in area. On the top side there is natural rainforest providing much privacy. On the other side there are lofty views of the ocean and islands to the north and north-east.
Lot 20
LOT 20 is a very large lot comprising 1.5401 hectares (approx 3.8 acres), and the highest elevated lot at Maravu. It combines a forward section of about half acre that faces north with great ocean views across Lots 19, 18, 17 and 16, with natural rainforested land to the rear. This lot is the only lot at Maravu where an owner will be allowed to keep a horse due to its size and location. The front section (approximately half-acre) will be cleared by Maravu, but the remaining land will be left as a natural rainforest environment.
Lot 21
Lot 21 is 2334 m2 in area and is bounded on three sides by Lot 20 and the estate reservoir. Lot 20 is the largest lot on offer, so Lot 21 is adjacent to several acres of rainforest property, thus providing excellent privacy.
Lots 22 and 23
LOTS 23 and 24 are the second and third largest parcels of land (after Lot 20), comprising 3012 m2 and 3013 m2 (approx three-quarters of an acre each). The feature of these lots is that they enjoy views of the ocean in three directions to the west, north and east (especially Lot 22). In particular one can get a good view of Yanuca Island the Ringgold reefs. The lots features many guava trees and plenty of space from neighbours. There is also a small caretaker hut already built on Lot 23, which perhaps could be upgraded to a guest cottage. Plenty of level land for ease of building.
